Indian athletes pay tribute to former president Abdul Kalam

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam (1931 – 2015)

India lost one of it’s greatest visionaries last evening when Dr. Abdul Kalam died during a lecture at IIM Shillong. According to doctors at the Bethany hospital, Kalam suffered a massive cardiac arrest.

Kalam was the 11th president of India and occupied the post between 2002 and 2007. Known as the people’s president, Kalam’s ideals stand to this day.

This was his last tweet.

Indian sportspersons took to social media to express their condolences to the missile man of India.
