Indian Football I-League All Stars

Who is in your dream team!!

This season we wont see any national team players due to the prestigious AFC Asia Cup 2011,Qatar preparations. However we will have a chance to see some fresh faces and upcoming youngsters which will provide a lot of excitement for the football enthusiasts in India.

Based on the performances I have made an Indian i-league all-starts team (having Indian players only who are a part of this years i-league) and a foreigner all star team(which obviously consists of all the foreigners playing in the i-league this season).

Goalkeeper:

Karanjit Singh

Defenders:

Dharmaraj Ravanan, Valeriano Rebello, Anas Edathodika, Rowilson Rodrigues

Midfielders:

Manish Mathani, Mehtab Hussain, Denson Devadas, Joaquim Abranches

Forwards:

Robin Singh, CS Sabeeth

Foreigner i-league All Stars

Goalkeepers:

NONE:As there are no foreign goalkeepers in India

Defenders:

??Luciano Sabrosa, Sergey Tokov, Chika Wali, Uga Okpara

Midfielders:

Izumi Arata, Penn Orji, Beto, Ogba Kalu Nnanna

Forwards:

Tolgay Ozbey, Odafe Onyeka Okolie

This is my opinion and it can definitely vary with you all. I have find it real hard to exclude players like Robert, Sakeer, Sangram, Jeje and others. It would be nice if AIFF manages to arrange a All-star week where these kind of teams will get to play. Won’t it be a real fun.
