Indian rowers continue to fight for rankings

India’s lone challenger, Sawarn Singh finished second in his group of Men’s Singles ranking round while the Lightweight Doubles pair of Manjeet Singh and Sandeep Kumar finished last in their group. Both had failed to qualify for the medal rounds earlier in the week.

Sawaran Singh finished second in his group with a time of 7 min 36 seconds. He will now compete in the final round to determine rankings 13- 18.

The Men’s Doubles pair of Manjeet and Sandeep finished last amoung four in their group with a time of 7 min 19 seconds. They will now compete in the final ranking round to determine rankings 19-24.
