The game between Pune Warriors and Delhi Daredevils at Delhi will just be a formality as both the teams have failed to make it to the play-offs. It will be the final game of the campaign for both the teams and so pride will be at stake. Both Delhi and Pune would like to finish with a win and as far from the bottom as possible.
Much hype was created around the last encounter between Kolkata and Pune but the Dada magic did not really turn out on the whole and Kolkata ran away with the victory brightening their chances of making the play-offs ahead of Punjab and Mumbai. If Punjab lose their encounter against Deccan, Kolkata will be secure of a place in the last four.
Delhi will be looking to give as many youngsters a game as possible. The young paceman Aaron has been impressive generating some express pace and he would be one to look out. The one bright spot in the Pune line-up certainly has been Rahul Sharma, who has picked up wickets along with the distinction of being the most economical.
The most disappointing on the other hand have been the likes of Robin Uthappa (Pune) and Irfan Pathan (Delhi), who would like to make a point in the last game. Robin Uthappa has hardly made an appearance in the top order and that has not helped his cause. Yuvraj Singh would like hime to win this for Pune.
