Key decisions were taken at the Sports Authority of India’s Governing Body Meeting which included setting up of National Centres of Excellence and merging it with the existing schemes of Regional Centres and academic institutions of SAI.
Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said 14 Olympic sports will be prioritized at these centres.
