Wax was used to create the words “League of Titans” on a white sheet of paper just by splashing colours on a white chart paper.
“Menssana in corporesano” is a famous Latin saying, which loosely translates as “A healthy mind resides in a healthy body”.
IMT Ghaziabad, one of the premier B Schools of the country strongly believes in it. A B-School is not just about academics, it also ensures that the students develop an all-round personality to survive the big bad world.
Sport is integral to that development and the sporting culture in IMT is such that there are a few Sachin Tendulkar’s, Lionel Messi’s and Saina Nehwal’s in every batch. Sport in IMT is not just another activity; it is a way of life.

No real surprise then that IMT is known as the Mecca for sports, among all the top B-Schools of the country. Chakravyuh – the annual sporting fest of the college is famous among the B-school fraternity for being the biggest annual sporting extravaganza in the country.
To keep the fire of competition burning among the students, the Sports Committee organises the League of Titans (also known as LoT in IMT lingo).
The League of Titans is an intra-college sporting event, where the students compete with each other in seven different sporting events – table tennis, volleyball, throwball, basketball, football, cricket and badminton – for the coveted championship trophy.
Format:
It is a seven-month long event, which generally starts in July every year and stretches to January in the following year. It covers seven sports with one sport taking place every month.
This is done in order to keep the enthusiasm up for the entire year, which will then culminate with the biggest high: Chakravyuh.
In the League of Titans, the students are divided as per their academic sections. Each section has a representative and it is his/her duty to select the teams and the captain for each different sport.
Inauguration:
After a long wait, this year’s event began on July 28th and the tournament was declared open by lighting of the ceremonial torch. All the captains assembled on the field to take the oath to play hard but play fair.

Current status:
With the volleyball and table tennis events done and dusted, the basketball event tipped off on September 1.
