Dehradun's famous Pavilion Ground gears up to host 38th National Games in early 2025

Uttarakhand government's efforts have helped in bringing the 38th National Games to the state. Dehradun will be one of the cities hosting the National Games from January 28 to February 14, 2025.

The previous two National Games events took place in Gujarat and Goa. The 2023 edition was quite successful in Goa because the mega event not just allowed the spectators to enjoy quality sports but also explore the beauty of Goa's tourist spots.

Uttarakhand also promises to serve both purposes for the spectators as they can explore various tourist destinations, especially near the Pavilion Ground in Dehradun, which is likely to host quite a few sports events.

Clock Tower, Robbers Cave among major tourist spots to explore nearby Pavilion Ground during 38th National Games

Pavilion Ground has hosted many local tournaments in Dehradun, but now it is all set to host the grand 38th National Games event in early 2025. Fans and players visiting the Pavilion Ground can also visit the nearby Robbers Cave, which is a major tourist attraction in Uttarakhand. It is one of the top picnic spots in the state.

Sahastradhara is another tourist attraction which is at the Baldi river. The waterfalls and caves are beautiful at this place. Speaking of waterfalls, Shikhar Falls is another pleasant place to visit while in Uttarakhand. Visitors will have to trek for approximately 1km on rugged terrains to reach this place.

Lacchiwala Nature Park offers another fun experience to the people visiting Uttarakhand. It is a kind of jungle safari with rich history and a serene and picturesque picnic spot.

The final spot to visit near the Pavilion Ground is the Clock Tower, which is built in the middle of a road in Dehradun. Shops and hotels near the Clock Tower are generally crowded. It is a hexagonal building, and its height is approximately 85m.
