pankaj advani is World champion 2009
Pankaj advani became the second India to win the World professional billiards tournament here at leeds on sunday. He defeated record nine time champion Mike russell 2031-1253 in a one sided batlle. Geet sethi has won the same for India a record 6 times. Advani defeated top three players including compatriot Geet sethi to achieve the feet. President Pratibha Patil in a congratulatory message, said, “The achievement is an occasion for great happiness not only because Pankaj Advani has become the World champion but also because he is only the second Indian to win this title.”
