LONDON - South Korea’s Ki Bo-Bae added the Olympic Games women’s individual archery gold to her team title victory when she defeated Mexico’s Aida Roman in the final at Lord’s on Thursday.

Another Mexican, Mariana Avitia, claimed bronze defeating Khatuna Lorig of the United States, who was taking part in her fifth successive Olympics under a third different national flag.

In Barcelona in 1992, she was a member of the Unified Team formed after the break-up of the former Soviet Union, before representing Georgia in Atlanta in 1996 and Sydney four years later.
