Sudha Singh finishes 13th in 3000m steeplechase

Sudha Singh, 3000m steeplechase runner, finished 24 secs off the leader in heats. She had a photo finish for 13th position out of 15 runners.

A steeple chase runner has to clear 28 hurdles and seven water jumps in seven and half laps of the track.

For most part of the race, Sudha tried to hang on with other runners, but many broke away and left her behind after the first two laps.

It looked like she was fighting for screen space than with others.
