Talukdar crashes out of Men's archery event

After a disappointing ranking round, Jayanta Talukdar faced American archer, Jacob Wukie in the round of 32 today at Lord’s cricket ground.

Jacob Wukie wrapped up the match in under 10 minutes with five successive 10s. The Guwahati archer had no answer to Wukie’s eye for the target.

He lost the tie without even winning a single set and the final score read 86-76 in favour of Wukie.

Despite a strong showing in the Men’s team archery event, Talukdar couldn’t hit the bulls eye in the Men’s individual event.
