1. Dortmund hold on despite late Real rally

Borussia Dortmund qualified for their second ever Champions League final on Tuesday, beating Real Madrid 4-3 on aggregate despite losing the second leg of their semi-final 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

2. IPL 6: Chennai Super Kings beat Pune for sixth consecutive IPL win

Pune Warriors poor run the Indian Premier League (IPL) continued as they suffered their fifth consecutive loss going down to two-time champions and table toppers Chennai Super Kings by 37-runs at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium here Tuesday.

3. Spanish doctor jailed for ‘blood doping’ top cyclists

Spanish doctor Eufemiano Fuentes was sentenced to a year in prison by a Madrid court on Tuesday after being found guilty of endangering public health by administering blood transfusions to top cyclists.

4. Yonex Malaysian Open: 11th seed Gurusaidutt battles into second round

India’s RMV Gurusaidutt dropped a game before accounting for Chao Huang of Singapore 21-19, 14-21, 21-17 to advance to the second round of the Yonex Sunrise Malaysian Grand Prix Gold Badminton Championship being played in Kuala Lumpur.

The knife attack on Monica Seles, which took place in Hamburg 20 years ago, not only dictated security at sports events over the last two decades, but changed the victim’s life.

6. Memphis Grizzlies defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 103-93

8. China’s Peng pounds Bartoli in Portugal

China’s Peng Shuai used a minimal amount of clay court preparation on Tuesday to knock French top seed Marion Bartoli out in the first round of the Portugal Open 6-0, 1-6, 6-4.
