Real Madrid forced Barcelona to delay their title celebrations as Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 200th Real goal in an entertaining 4-3 win over Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.

The result cut Barcelona’s lead at the top to eight points and although they can’t now mathematically seal the title with a win over Real Betis on Sunday, they can restore their 11-point lead with just four games remaining.

5. Dortmund, Bayern draw in Champions League final warm-up

Borussia Dortmund ended ten-man Bayern Munich’s 14-match winning streak in the Bundesliga on Saturday as the warm-up for the Champions League final ended in a 1-1 draw.

6. P.V Sindhu clinches her maiden Grand Prix Gold Title

17-year-old Indian Badminton sensation P.V Sindhu clinched her maiden level three title by defeating Gu Juan of Singapore 21-17 17-21 21-19 in the final of Yonex Sunrise Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold Tournament. Sindhu, who is currently the World No. 13, defeated the World No. 27 in an hour and 11 minutes.

7. Knicks hold off Celtics to advance, Pacers move on

The New York Knicks turned back a furious late charge by the Boston Celtics, holding on for an 88-80 victory to reach the second round of the NBA playoffs.

8. Mickelson, Watney share PGA lead

Phil Mickelson and Nick Watney each stumbled with the lead on Saturday, leaving the US duo tied atop the leaderboard after three rounds at the US PGA Wells Fargo Championship.

9. All-German final in Munich as Haas beats Dodig

Veteran Tommy Haas rolled back the years on Saturday to enjoy a straight sets semi-final win over Croatia Ivan Dodig and set up an all-German final at the ATP clay-court tournament in Munich.

10. Russia’s Pavlyuchenkova wins first clay title

Russia’s Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova beat Spain’s Carla Suarez Navarro 7-5, 6-2 on Saturday to win the Portugal Open and claim her first trophy on clay.
