The World Series is an annual baseball competition held between the champions of the American League and the National League. The competition has been held since 1903 and it is a best of 7 match series. It is usually held in October and so gets the name, the Fall Classic.
During the 2012 edition of the World Series, Fox charged advertisers as much as $450,000 for a 30 second spot. This was equal to the 2010 rate that the network charged advertisers.
