Toss successfully organizes Corporate Chucks - 2013", as a part of “femme sporting series”

Toss sportz eventz, a Chennai based sports events company successfully organized “Corporate Chucks – 2013“, an inter-corporate women’s throw ball event.” Corporate chucks is the first event of FSS [femme sporting series], a series of sporting events for the women targeting the school, college and the corporate audience. The main aim of the initiative is to promote sporting participation among women.

The Tournament happened with great enthusiasm as teams like Cognizant, Zoho Corp, dimensions Fitness, Danfoss, Scio Inspire etc. participated in the tournament.

Speaking on the initiative, M.Rajalingam, founder-director of “toss sportz eventz” said, “We are happy that “Corporate Chucks – 2013“, an inter-corporate women’s throw ball event happened successfully. We will be further organizing events in the categories of badminton, table tennis, basketball, swimming and also football. “Femme sporting series” will be providing a series of weekend sporting events targeting female players of corporate, school and college audience.”

The tournament played on February 3rd, 2013 in Chennai. The event was in a league cum knockout tournament where each team would play against each other once in the league.

The top 2 teams from each group qualified for the semi-finals which happened in the knock out format. Cognizant-A and Dimensions Fitness contested against each other for the trophy, with Cognizant-A clinching the “toss Corporate Chucks trophy”. Dimensions fitness bagged the runners-up trophy while Cognizant-B took home the trophy for the third place. The event also had a best player award.

M.Rajalingam also said “Another aspect behind the corporate events is that they serve as the ideal platform for the busy executives to relive their school and college days. The tournament was able to create a stress free environment for relaxed interaction away from the pressures of work place and in the process has led to team building and camaraderie within the employees of the companies.”
