Aptly titled ‘A Billion Hopes’, the purpose is to understand why India, despite having a billion-strong population, doesn’t produce enough medal winners. To do so, India needs to have an ecosystem where there are coaches to train athletes, facilities, and equipment for athletes to train with, knowledge about nutrition and body rehab, and, most importantly support from stakeholders including the government and the corporate sector.
