Who are warrior sports?

Liverpool FC officially announced their partnership with Michigan Based company Warrior Sports, which sees Liverpool FC bag 25 million pounds a season.

I’ll be honest. I am personally an Adidas fan. Their shirts, their kits, I love them all, but financially, this move really had to be made so that we don’t fall even further behind our rivals. This figure even sees the kit deal for Liverpool FC dwarf that of Man United whom are currently earning around 23 million pounds a year from their kit deal with Nike.

A Little Background Info

Warrior Sports. You probably wouldn’t have heard of them before Liverpool announced the partnership. They are in fact a company who are making their first venture into football with this Liverpool kit deal. Prior to this deal, they had only be known to make Ice Hockey and Lacrosse apparel for United States based clubs.

Along with this deal, they have also managed to secure a kit deal with Boston Red Sox, a baseball team with the same parent owners controlling them at the moment. Warrior Sports will become the Liverpool FC kit sponsor from 1 June, 2012 and they will be providing the Liverpool F.C. home, away and third kits, as well as their training wear for the next six years.

Will hope to see some sweet new kits over the coming years.
