Squash: Ghosal, Chinappa for Maharashtra State Open Squash

Saurav Ghosal and Joshana Chinappa will be the star attractions and will seek to defend their titles in the 38th Bombay Gymkhana Maharashtra State Open Senior Squash Championship that will be organized and hosted by Bombay Gymkhana from December 18 to 21.

The men’s field also includes Harinderpal Singh Sandhu and India No. 2 Mahesh Mangaonkar apart from a posse of other well known players.

World No. 17 Ghosal, who reached the quarter-finals in the World Championship, will face stiff competition from Sandhu who will be eager to change the script. Mangaonkar, who finished third in the British Junior Open and is in top form, will also use the platform to fashion a famous win.

The other categories include Professionals, over-35, over-45 and over-55. All matches will be played over best of five games in the 11 points a rally scoring system.
