Indian Squash: Iran Junior Open Final Results

Adhitya Raghavan and Neharika Balamurukan, trainees at the Indian Squash Academy, Chennai won their maiden international squash titles in the Boys and Girls under 13 category respectively at the Iran Junior Open being held from 27th -30th June at the Engheleb Sports Complex, Tehran, Iran.

Adhitya & Neharika both southpaws from Chennai won their maiden title with straight game victories against their local opponents. In the semi finals they defeated higher ranked opponents from Iraq and Iran respectively. This event is part of the Asian Squash Series, the next events where the players will participate are the Hong Kong Junior Open (10-14 Aug) & Indian Junior Open (6-10 Sept).

Girls under 13: Neharika Balamurukan beat Ayli Nayeri(Iran) : 3/0(11-6,11-7,11-8)

Boys under 13:Adhitya Raghavan beat Alireza Shameli(Iran): 3/0(11-9,11-6,11-8)
