Indian squash ace Mahesh Mangaonkar continued his good run at the PSA $15,000 Sekisui Open at Kriens, Switzerland as entered the quarter-finals on Thursday. The fifth seed eased past World No. 170 Bernat Jaume of Spain, 11-4, 11-7, 11-6 in his second round match.
The 21-year-old has a tough task up next as he is scheduled to meet the second seed Raphael Kandra of Germany. Kandra, ranked 17 places above the 65th ranked Indian, has been in good form and is yet to drop a game at this tournament. He has come to the Sekisui Open with a good string of results of late that includes a title win in Canada in January, besides finishing as runner-up at the German Nationals.

As for Mangaonkar, this is his third PSA event since making a comeback from a health-related hiatus in February. He made it to the semi-finals of the Cactus Classic which was his first tournament since the break.
