Squash: Kush Kumar enters final of Asian Youth Games

India’s Kush Kumar wins 11-6, 11-13, 11-9, 11-8 against NG Eain Yow of Malaysia in the semifinal of the boys’ singles at the 2nd Asian Youth Games 2013 being held in Nanjing, China.

The Indian Squash Academy product is now through to the final, which is scheduled for tomorrow. Kumar’s victory has assured India of a medal at the Games.

Kush was delighted with his performance and said he will certainly give it his best shot to win a gold medal for his country.

Earlier, Vijay Kumar Meena lost in the quarterfinals in a 5-set encounter to Yuen Tsun Hei from Hong Kong.
