Sub Junior and Junior National Squash Championship: Kush Kumar and Harshit Kaur become the new Champions in U-19 boys and girls category

Sub Junior & Junior National Squash Championship held at the Daly College, Indore witnessed a lot of upsets andoutstanding game on the final day. Kush Kumar and Harshit Kaur become the newChampions in U-19 boys and girls category in Sub Junior & Junior National Squash Championship. Some of the most exciting matches were played between Aditya Raghavan from TN who beat Aryaman Adil in the fifth game; same situation prevailed in Mayuri’s match in girls U-17 where she was 2-0 up and lost to Adhya Advani by 3-2 in a very exciting match.

Velavan Senthilkumar was adjudged as the most outstanding player of the championship. Harshit Kaur and Veer Chotrani were adjudged as the most promising players of the championship in boys’ and girls’ categories respectively.

The closing ceremony conducted in Dhirubhai Ambani auditorium in the evening, was attended by a large number of players and parents. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Sumer Singh, Principal and Director of the Daly College. Present on the occasion were vice president of the Board of governors Thakur Narendra Singhji Bidwal, Senior Vice Principal Mr. Rajan Potty, Bursar Mr. Harshwardhan Singh, Dean of Sports Mr. Dharam Verma ,other senior officials and other dignitaries.
