The Prelude, 1968

The 1968 team played well throughout the season and won the West Division. This team had a ton of potential. The squad had finished its second Super Bowl appearance at the time.

Len & the Ring, '69

Dawson finally led the team over the obstacle in 1969. He assisted the Chiefs in putting everything together and achieving their first (and only) Super Bowl victory.

Heartbreak, 1997

Team's coach Marty‘s took QB Grbac back in to the team. The team still won the 13 regular season games and take the division despite having a lack of talent.

Big Show, 2003

One of the most pleasing offenses ever put together by the Chiefs was in 2003. Over 6,000 yards of offense were amassed by the team under the leadership of Vermeil and Green.

Long Wait, 2015

There were 3 reasons. First - Smith completed 65% of his passes. Second - it was the first playoff victory in 22 years. Third - After a rough start, HC Reid turned the team around.

Won AFC, 2016

Though the season ended bitterly in the playoffs, there were many good things for the team. They won the division for the first time in 7 years after sweeping a very tough AFC West.

Mahomes' Spell, 2018

Mahomes became the third QB in history to throw for 5000 yards and 50 touchdowns, winning the team's first-ever NFL MVP award. He improved each team member.
