Whitlock discussed Deion Sanders' extravagant displays of gold chains, arrogance, and bullying behavior. He then went on to explain that the Colorado head coach insists on being referred to as "Prime," despite his lack of personal development and maturity.

The sports analyst commented on his podcast, Fearless with Jason Whitlock, saying: "Deion Sanders is actually insanely insecure. He camouflages his self-doubt with gold chains, bluster, and bullying. He's 56 and insisted people refer to him as ‘Prime’, a secular, materialistic character he created as a child at Florida State."

He claimed that Deion's acts as a coach were primarily self-centered, contradicting his promises about boosting Black coaches. He cited examples of Deion Sanders hiring white coordinators at Colorado, despite his claims of encouraging Black coaches. Jason Whitlock went on to say: "Deion says he's coaching to uplift Black coaches but he hired White coordinators at Colorado."

Jason Whitlock went into more depth on how various black and white reporters and ex-athletes with platforms have helped Deion Sanders maintain his public persona. He expresses how many people are afraid to dispute or criticize Coach Prime for fear of being labeled as "sellouts" or "racists."

"Most of the media celebrated Sanders' post-game antics. White reporters fear being labeled ‘racist.’ Black reporters fear being labeled ‘sellouts.’ The ex-jocks with a platform all want to be Deion and fear jeopardizing their invitation to speak to the Colorado football team."

Deion Sanders' failure to live up to the values he professes, notably his Christian beliefs, infuriated Jason Whitlock. He made multiple bold claims against the guy revered by the college football community, accusing him of unknowingly introducing racial elements into games and insulting those who presented no threat to him.

On the other hand, since leading his Colorado Buffaloes to a stunning upset over No. 17 TCU, Bayless has heaped high praise on Deion Sanders. The win came against all odds and has boosted expectations for Coach Prime and the new Boulder setup as the season progresses. On a recent episode of "Undisputed," Skip Bayless discussed what he admires most about Deion Sanders as a coach.

“What I love the most about Deion as a head football coach is he understands that every week needs to be a new thing with which he can connect to your heart and push the deepest button in your psyche to motivate you," Bayless said. "If you want to talk about motivation, this guy is the flip side of Mike McCarthy.”
