Patrick Mahomes, in his young career, has conquered numerous NFL fields, yet he's set to make his debut at the iconic Lambeau Field this week.
Making his debut at the Packers' home stadium, the Chiefs QB expresses anticipation for the Sunday Night Football matchup, a first in his career.
“I’m extremely excited for it. I’ve watched it my whole entire life, and I know it’s going to be a hostile environment.
The fans are going to be loud, it’s going to be a lot like Arrowhead is to other teams like you’re saying. But I’m excited, if you love football, you love Lambeau Field.”
While the Chiefs faced the Packers at Lambeau in preseason games throughout Mahomes' career, he has never participated in any of those matches.
In 2019, when the Chiefs visited Green Bay for a regular-season game, Mahomes couldn't play due to a knee injury, marking the sole occurrence of such an event.
