As the XFL 2023 season is about to kick off, let’s look at some of the top players to watch out for in the 2023 season.
The All-Pro WR is back after missing sections of both the 2015 and 2016 seasons due to violating the NFL's substance use rules. Gordon was a threat, in his prime.
Lynch was drafted in in 2016 by the Broncos. He played for two seasons in Dener and started in four games. He also represented the Seahawks and Steelers in 2019.
Beasley was drafted by the Falcons in the 2015 draft as the eighth overall pick. Unfortunately, he struggled to perform consistently. He last played in the NFL in 2020.
Elam was drafted by the Ravens in 2013. He played for four years. His two arrests cut short his NFL career in 2017. Since then, he’s played in the XFL, IFL and CFL.
McCarron has been a backup QB throughout his career in the NFL. Before that, McCarron led Alabama to back-to-back national championships in 2012 and 2013.
The WR played for the Steelers and Raiders in the NFL for four seasons and scored 17 TDs. He was eventually punished for league-imposed substance abuse.
The running back was very productive during his time in Arizona State. He represented the Miami Dolphins and the LA Chargers in the NFL.
Hailing from Orlando, Johnny punted for four teams in the NFL in the span of three seasons. He is also the younger brother of KC chiefs player Tommy Townsend.
