Former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Jones was arrested on terroristic threats charges but has since been released from jail.
The alleged incident happened while Jones was drunk, a charge he denied. He called the charges "b******t" and expressed his frustration over the arrest.
"Do I look intoxicated to you? I only been locked up for 2 hours. Y'all talking about 6:30 in the morning.
Who in the hell is drunk at 6:30 in the morning, man? This s*** getting old, bro. It's getting old. And we gotta stop doing this."
Jones was accused of being drunk at an airport & making terroristic charges early morning of Sept 11th. Authorities were called to handle an unruly passenger.
Jones is charged with misdemeanors: alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, & terroristic threats. Before his arrest, a video of Jones ranting about his Bengals' loss on Sunday went viral.
Regrettably, this isn't Jones' initial run-in with the law or airport-related trouble.
He has had a few legal troubles throughout his career & in his retirement, which began after 2018.
