After the cancellation of their second-round match at the Paris Olympics, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will take to the court on Tuesday, July 30, at 5:30 PM for their final group stage match at the Games. The duo will be up against Indonesia's Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

Rankireddy and Shetty have had smooth sailing as they began their campaign in Paris but will be running into trickier waters as they enter this final group stage match. The duo were up against host nation's Lucas Corvee and Ronan Labar for their opening round and needed only 45 minutes and two games to silence the cheering home crowd.

After that, they were scheduled to play Mark Lamsfuss and Marvin Seidel for their next match, but the Germans withdrew, leaving the third-seeded pair with an extra day of rest.

On the other end, Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto have had to play both of their group-stage matches. In their opening match on Saturday, July 27, they took down Lamsfuss and Seidel in straight games, before meting out a similar blow to Corvee and Labar.

Now the Indians and Indonesians will clash swords in what promises to be the most exciting battle of Group C. The stakes for the match are high, with the winner making it through to the quarterfinals.

For Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, this is an opportunity to better their performance from Tokyo, where they crashed out in the group stage matches. Meanwhile, for Alfian and Ardianto it's a chance to make a memorable finish on their Olympic Games debut.
