Udayan Mane is an Indian professional golfer, who has secured 11 wins on the Professional Golf Tour of India. He is currently active on both the Asian Tour and the Professional Golf Tour of India. Mane, born in Bangalore, started his professional journey in golf after a distinguished spell as the leading amateur in India in 2014.

The 33-year-old embarked on his debut Olympic journey at the Kasumigaseki Country Club in Tokyo, starting with a mix of challenges and opportunities. Despite the adverse weather conditions on the second day forcing to suspend the men's golf event, Mane showcased resilience while playing. He had pace in the initial stage but was on a one-under score after 10 holes when play was stopped.

However, he put up an impressive show in the opening round and completed his second round and went on to climb to a tied-57th spot on the provisional leaderboard.

Udayan Mane then faced setbacks that consisted of four bogeys and two double bogeys, dropping to the bottom with a score of five-over 76. He had carded two-under 69 in the second round with three birdies and two bogeys to earn positions.

In the fourth round, Udayan reached one-over 72 to finish 56th overall in the 60-man field with a score of three-over 287 (76, 69, 70, 72). Notably, the Olympic debutant carded five bogeys and four birdies in the final round.

He made a significant impact in his debut season itself, winning twice on the Professional Golf Tour of India before clinching nine more.

One of his standout performances came in the 2018 Bank BRI Indonesia Open, where he secured a tied sixth position.
