The seven-member badminton squad is all set to represent India at the Paris Olympics 2024. This is the joint-highest contingent sent by India in the global event, with seven shuttlers also participating in Rio Olympics.

Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu will lead the Indian challenge in women's singles, while HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen will vie for a medal in the men's singles event.

The first Indian doubles pair to take the World No. 1 spot, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty will represent the country in the men's doubles event. On the other hand, Tanisha Crasto-Ashwini Ponnappa will be participating in the women's doubles competition.

In total, India have secured three medals at the Olympics. Saina Nehwal was the first shuttler to win an Olympic medal in 2012, when she clinched a bronze. Then, Sindhu claimed silver in 2016 and bronze in 2020.
