Indian para-athlete Dipesh Kumar faced a tough outing in the Paris Paralympics 2024 men’s javelin throw F54 final, struggling to find his best form amid fierce competition. The Indian athlete, who entered the competition with high hopes, delivered a best throw of 26.11m in his opening attempt.
Unfortunately, his subsequent throws could not surpass this mark. His second throw measured 25.59m, while the rest of his attempts were marred by fouls or subpar distances, ultimately leaving him in the last position.
Despite a valiant effort, Dipesh’s initial throw of 26.11m remained his best, with his fifth attempt at 25.90m also falling short of making an impact.
Ivan Revenko, competing as a neutral Paralympic athlete, dominated the event with an impressive gold-medal-winning throw of 30.77m in the Paris Paralympics 2024 men’s javelin throw F54 final, achieved in his second attempt.
