Top Indian shuttler PV Sindhu recently found herself in a humorous situation during a practice session ahead of the Paris Olympics 2024. A video posted by HS Prannoy on his X (formerly Twitter) handle captured a light-hearted moment that quickly became a talking point among fans.

In the video, Prannoy is seen practicing with Sindhu and Lakshya Sen, both of whom are also gearing up for the upcoming Olympics. Despite the intense preparation, fans couldn't help but notice that no shuttles were being sent Sindhu’s way as Prannoy and Sen played amongst themselves. This led to a flurry of amusing reactions online.

One fan quipped:

“Sindhu be like haa tum log hi aapas me khel lo.”

Another fan commented:

“Lgta h Prannoy ko Sindhu ke smash se dar lgta h just kidding.”

The humorous responses continued with:

“Sindhu be like- mein kya karu phir...job chod du.”
“Sindhu ko bhi khila lo 😭😭,” wrote one fan.

The light-hearted banter was accompanied by popular memes shared on social media platforms.

PV Sindhu to be India’s flag bearer at Paris Olympics 2024 Opening Ceremony

PV Sindhu, a veteran of Indian badminton, is set to be India’s flag bearer alongside paddler Sharath Kamal at the Paris Olympics 2024 Opening Ceremony. Sindhu is the only Indian female athlete to have won multiple medals at the Olympics, having secured a silver at Rio 2016 and a bronze at Tokyo 2020. She is now aiming for her third consecutive Olympic medal, a feat that would make her the first Indian to achieve such an accomplishment.

The badminton events at the Paris Olympics 2024 will commence on July 27. The Indian badminton contingent features seven shuttlers, with PV Sindhu representing India in women’s singles and Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy competing in men’s singles.

In men’s doubles, the World No. 3 duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are strong medal contenders. The women's doubles team includes Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa, who are also expected to make a significant impact.
