Manu Bhaker comes fourth in her third bronze medal bid in Paris 2024 Olympics
While Manu Bhaker has already scripted Olympic history after winning two bronze medals in Paris, she had the chance to win an unprecedented third medal on Saturday. However, the pistol ace from Haryana came fourth in the women’s 25m air pistol event, dropping off from the top three positions after a shoot-off with Hungary’s Veronika Major.
However, Manu can look back on her journey in the Paris 2024 Games with pride, as she has previously clinched a bronze medal at the women’s 10m air pistol event. She also claimed her second bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event along with her shooting partner Sarabjot Singh.
Along with Bhaker, rifle shooter Swapnil Kusale also won a bronze medal for India in the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions event.
