WTT Contender Bangkok 2024: Manush Shah, Manav Thakkar, and Snehit Suravajjula register wins on Day 3

It was a mixed day for the Indian paddlers on the first day of the main draw in the WTT Contender Bangkok 2024. While a few advanced for the second rounds, multiple paddlers bowed out of the tournament.

From men’s singles, Manush Shah, Manav Thakkar, Snehit Suravajjula, and Sharath Kamal stormed into the second round while Paris-bound Harmeet Desai exited after losing his first-round encounter.

On the other hand, in the women’s singles, all paddlers bowed out of the campaign. Ayhika Mukherjee, Sutirtha Mukherjee, Yashaswini Ghorpade, and Archana Girish suffered defeats in the very first round of WTT Contender Bangkok.

In the mixed doubles category, Diya Parag-Manush Shah moved to the quarter-final round while other pairs bowed out of the WTT Contender Bangkok.
