Caitlin Simmers is an American surfer and one of the best wave-riding prodigies in the United States. Notably, she was named 2023 WSL Championship Tour Rookie of The Year and has qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics. She qualified as a result of the USA women's team clinching a first-place finish at the 2022 ISA World Surfing Games.

In 2018, Simmers clinched victory at the ISA Under-16 Girls World Junior Championship. This win was the foundation for her becoming a competitive surfer. In the following years in 2019 and 2020, she dominated the WSL Pro Junior Series, a testament to her extraordinary potential. At the young age of 15, Simmers created history by winning the US Open of Surfing. This event was more remarkable for her career because she was the second-youngest champion in history of the event. Her remarkable performance qualified her for the WSL Championship Tour, the pinnacle of professional surfing. However, to everyone's shock, she declined the offer so that she could improve her skills more before entering the tour the next time.

In 2022, Simmers returned unhinged to the Challenger Series and she qualified for the famous Championship Tour once again. Her debut year in the Championship Tour was exceptional. She won the tour at the Meo Pro Portugal. She ended the season with podium finishes at Surf Ranch Pro, Tahiti Pro, and Rio Pro. And to top it all off she finished fourth place at the WSL Finals winning the Rookie of the Year trophy.
