John John Florence is an American surfer born in 1992 at Hawaii. He was born and brought up near one of the most iconic surfing breaks in the world called Pipeline in Hawaii. By the age of two, John Florence was already on a surfboard playing and familiarising with it, as his mother was a surfer herself. The early exposure to the ocean and waves nurtured a deep connection with surfing that made him a competitive surfer representing Team USA in the World Surf League (WSL) and the Olympics.
