Suzhou (China), May 2 (IANS): China secured the men's doubles title at the World Table Tennis Championships after making the final an intra-squad match here on Saturday.
Xu Xin, who won the mixed doubles crown with South Korea's Yang Hae-un on Friday, teamed up with Zhang Jike to beat South Korea's Lee Sang-su/Seo Hyun-deok 9-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-6, 4-11, 11-3, reports Xinhua.
In the other semifinal, China's Fan Zhendong and Zhou Yu defeated Japan's Kenta Matsudaira-Koki Niwa 11-6, 11-7, 11-6, 11-6.
China has also nailed its 11th straight women's singles crown by sweeping the semi-final spots.
