The China Smash 2024 will be played from September 26 to October 6 at the Shijingshan Shougang Park in Beijing, China. A prize pool of $2,000,000 is up for grabs across five events - men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.
Thirteen Indian paddlers will compete across five events at the China Smash 2024. Six Indians will be in action in men's and women's singles each.
Manav Thakkar and Sharath Kamal Achanta have a direct qualifying to the main draw while Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, Harmeet Desai, Manush Shah, and Snehit Suravajjula will compete in the qualifying draw.
Manika Batra and Sreeja Akula have received a bye and will start their China Smash 2024 campaign in the main round. Meanwhile, Yashaswini Ghorpade, Ayhika Mukherjee, Sutirtha Mukherjee, and Diya Chitale will have to win their qualifier matches to secure a place in the main draw.
In the men's doubles, Manush Shah will partner with Manav Thakkar and India's Mudit Dani will pair up with Malta's Taehyun Kim for the competition. Ayhika Mukherjee and Sutirtha Mukherjee are India's lone representation in women's doubles.
Manush Shah will again be in action with Diya Chitale in mixed doubles. The draw for all three doubles is yet to take place and will happen after the singles events.
