UTT 2024 Player Draft: Complete list of all players in Ultimate Table Tennis Draft ft. Sreeja Akula

The Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT 2024) league is set to enter its fifth season and will take place from August 22 to September 7 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Before the tournament begins, the franchises will gather in Mumbai on Wednesday, July 10, for the UTT 2024 Draft to build their team.

A total of 47 players, including eight international stars, will be part of the Player Draft, with 43 players set to be drafted into teams. A few Indian stars who’ll be heading for the Paris Olympics 2024 before UTT 2024 have already been retained by their respective franchises.

Sharath Kamal will continue to play for Chennai Lions, G Sathiyan will represent Dabang Delhi TTC again, Harmeet Desai will play for Goa Challengers, Manav Thakkar will turn up for U Mumba TT and Manika Batra will represent Bengaluru Smashers.

The UTT 2024 draft will have a mix of experienced international players and rising Indian talents. The rules of the Player Draft state that Puneri Paltan Table Tennis, alongside debutants Jaipur Patriots and Ahmedabad SG Pipers, will have the first picks, as they did not retain any players before the draft.

All eight teams will be active from the second round, aiming to build a six-member squad consisting of one foreign male and female player and two Indian male and female players.
