WTT Contender Lagos 2024: Results at the end of Day 3

Indian paddlers had a few outings on the third day of the ongoing WTT Contender Lagos 2024 in Lagos, Nigeria. Let’s delve into the details of Day 3 of the competition.

In the men’s singles, Sharath Kamal and Manav Thakkar secured comprehensive wins to advance to the quarterfinals. However, Harmeet Desai, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, and Manush Shah's campaigns ended.

Moving to the women’s singles, Surirtha Mukherjee, Sreeja Akula, and Ahyhika Mukherjee bagged wins in the Round of 16 to storm into the quarterfinals. On the other hand, Diya Parag, and Manika Batra faced early exits from the WTT Contender Lagos.

In the men’s doubles, the duo of Akash Pal and Manush Shah bagged a win alongside the Manav Thakkar-Harmeet Desai pair to advance to the quarterfinals.

In the women’s doubles and mixed doubles, Indian paddlers had an impressive day as all pairs registered excellent wins to make it to the next round of the WTT Contender Lagos.
