Across the world, in Barcelona, Spain and Melbourne, Australia among other places, table tennis players teamed up with YouTube channel Editing Sports to develop a video that showcased strokes that were both dazzling and awe-inspiring.
In Barcelona, two players traded fierce strokes across the net, shots that ranged from piercing smashes to chops that spun almost a mile. The rally ended with one of the players sending a smash disguised as a chop swerving inches away from the net, which struck his opponent in his abdomen.
In Vienna, Austria, World Number eight Marcos Frietas was left gawping as he saw an amateur player rattle off a smash at breakneck speed.
In Melbourne, one of the players rode on a lawn-mower like vehicle while playing the game with a racquet the size of a frying pan.
