WTT Contender Lagos is all set to start on Thursday, June 20, at Sir Molade Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports Hall in Lagos, Nigeria. A total of USD 80,000 prize money will be awarded to the eventual champions.
A total of 12 Indian paddlers are all set to take part in the competition across Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles events.
Achanta Sharath Kamal, Harmeet Desai, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, Akash Pal, and Manush Shah are part of the Men’s Singles. Meanwhile, Sreeja Akula, Manika Batra, Sutirtha Mukherjee, Yashaswini Ghorpade, Ayhika Mukherjee, Diya Parag Chitale, and Archana Girish Kamath will compete in Women’s Singles.
Furthermore, these paddlers will also be a part of the men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles events.
