Azurá Stevens is a professional basketball player in the WNBA for the Los Angeles Sparks. Stevens is 6’6 tall, and she is a very versatile player who is also a great defender and a capable scorer, as she averaged 10.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, playing 35 games and starting in 29 of them in the 2024 season. She started her college at Duke University and was an All-ACC player before transferring to University of Connecticut. She also achieved many awards in UConn such as AAC Sixth Player of the Year. Stevens was drafted sixth overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft to the Dallas Wings and has also played for the Chicago Sky with which she won the WNBA title in 2021.

Stevens was also the AAC Tournament MVP in 2018 as she averaged 14.7 points, 1.9 assists and 7.4 rebounds per game, while shooting at her most efficient clip of 60.6% from the field. Along with the Tournament MVP honours, she also won the AAC Newcomer of the Year and the AAC Sixth Player of the Year in the same year as well. WNBA Championship

One of the biggest achievements in Azurá Stevens’s career was to win the WNBA Championship with the Chicago Sky in 2021. She played a very crucial role in the entire season and especially in the finals to clinch the first title for the team.
