Born on December 2, 1997, Song Yadong was sent to a martial arts school by his mother to learn Sanda at 9. And Song was able to make his professional MMA debut before 16.
Yadong had a professional MMA record of 11-5-1 before signing a multiple-fight contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He made his octagon debut in the featherweight division and won the fight via a guillotine choke submission in the first round. The fight took place on November 25, 2017, against Bharat Khandare.
