If Nadal does not win his second Australian Open title in 2020, a triumph at the 2020 French Open would make Djokovic the first player in the Open Era to win each of the four Grand Slam tournaments on multiple occasions.

Djokovic is a record seven-time winner at the Australian Open. He won his lone French Open title in 2016 to complete the Career Grand Slam, and he is also a five-time winner at Wimbledon and a three-time winner at the US Open.
The Serb lost to Dominic Thiem in the 2017 quarterfinals in Paris before falling to the same player in a five-set semifinal this year.
In fact, Roger Federer, who has announced his plans of playing at the French Open next year, would also be in the reckoning at the claycourt Major, where a title run would also see him win each of the four Grand Slam tournaments multiple times.
