The likes of Roger Federer, Serena Williams, and Rafael Nadal are among the highest-paid athletes on the planet and they all have some expensive properties to their names.
Tennis is among the most lucrative sports on the planet. Most players who manage to get to a certain level win themselves a fortune, and the ones who are at the top earn handsomely both on and off the court.
There are also players who may not earn too much on the court but whose popularity off the court helps them get quite wealthy.
Many tennis stars lead a life of luxury and own several expensive properties all around the world. On that note, let's take a look at five of the most expensive properties that are owned by tennis players.
#5. Rafael Nadal's Sunreef yacht
Rafael Nadal is an avid admirer of yachts and has quite a collection of them. However, his most coveted boating property is his 23.95 meter 80 Sunreef Power catamaran, which is named "Great White" and is docked in Porto Cristo, Mallorca. Nadal bought it for $5.4 million in 2019.
The multihull yacht has 360 square meters of living space with a cream and coffee interior. It also has a flybridge with a bar and barbecue as well as a jetski garage.
Nadal claimed that the amount of space was a huge factor in him owning a multihull yacht.
"I have only owned monohulls and on a catamaran I was captivated by the huge amount of space. Honestly, in my small port [in Mallorca], the 80 Sunreef Power is the biggest boat that can dock there," Nadal said.
"It’s great for me that I can have it here in Porto Cristo, located in front of my house. The huge amount of space that my catamaran has is unreachable by any monohull up to [30 metres]. That is for me the main reason for switching from monohull to multihull," he added.
#4. Serena Williams' Beverly Hills mansion
Serena Williams bought a Spanish contemporary mansion in Beverly Hills, California for $6.7 million in 2017, shortly after listing her house in Bel Air for $12 million.

The mansion also has a massage room, a yoga room and a game room, the last of which has a full bar and a wine cellar.
While Serena Williams' Beverly Hills house does not have a tennis court, it does have a built-in barbecue on the lawn along with a swimming pool.
#3. Novak Djokovic's New York condos
Novak Djokovic bought two condos in New York's Soho neighborhood for a combined price of around $10.6 million in 2017. Both penthouses are part of the 565 Broome residential building, whose architect was Italian architect Renzo Piano.
