It is said that the win helped Maria Sharapova to reach the top ranking is regarded to be one of the special moments of her life. Due to the injury in the shoulder, she was unable to continue with her ranking. The shoulder injury lay off did the damage and she slipped to number 126. However, winning the French open in the year 2012 changed the things once again.
It can be regarded as the sweetest victory for her which helped her to regain the top ranking once again. To reach the top position is never easy but to sustain that position is always regarded to be a tough job. However, with the hard work and true determination, she was able to enjoy the top ranking position again in her lifetime.
