Andrey Rublev is a Russian tennis player who is ranked No. 9 in the world as of November 2024. Rublev is one of the most consistent performers on the ATP tour and has reached the quarterfinals of all four Grand Slams, including the 2024 Australian Open. He has won 16 ATP singles titles and four ATP doubles titles, including the 2023 Monte Carlo Masters and the 2023 Madrid Open (doubles). He won the gold medal in the mixed doubles at the 2020 Summer Olympics with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

He reached back-to-back quarterfinals at the 2024 China Open and the 2024 Cincinnati Masters, losing to Yunchaokete Bu and Jannik Sinner, respectively. Rublev advanced to the final of the 2024 Canadian Open, defeating defending champion Jannik Sinner en route. By winning the 2024 Madrid Open, he became the only male player to win in both singles and doubles in Madrid. He booked a spot at the 2024 Nitto ATP Finals by competing in the group of Casper Ruud, Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev.

Rublev made his ATP tour debut in 2015 at the Delray Beach Open and won his first ATP title at the 2015 Kremlin Cup in doubles. Rublev's biggest career win came in 2019 when he defeated Roger Federer in straight sets in the Western & Southern Open. He was named the ATP Most Improved Player in 2020, as he reached his career-high ranking of No. 8.
