Azarenka is the new number one

Victoria Azarenka will be the No.1 women tennis player after the end of the Wimbledon. It may be weird that she is set to gain the No.1 ranking after having lost the Wimbledon semifinal to Serena Williams, but after the ousting of Sharapova in the fourth round against Sabine Lisicki, the Russian was set to lose her number one WTA rank.

Though Agnieszka Radwanska lost the Wimbledon final against Serena Williams, she still will jump to the number two seed. It was a very disappointing moment for the Polish. Had she won the final, she would have gone to number one, but Serena denied her of that.
