Iga Swiatek vs Bianca Andreescu prediction
Swiatek will enter the match as the overwhelming favorite to win. Considering how she played her last match against Liu, Andreescu has a huge mountain to climb if she is to cause an upset.
Swiatek was completely dominant in her last match, dismantling Liu in 66 minutes. Andreescu, on the other hand, had to grind out a win against Stearns in a match that lasted 2 hours and 26 minutes.
Swiatek will look to attack from the very first minute and put pressure on Andreescu. The Pole's game has hardly any flaws, be it her strong groundstrokes or return or on-court movement.
Andreescu is a strong hitter but will have to make full use of her varietty of groundstrokes if she is to trouble Swiatek. The Canadian will have to bring on her A-game if she is to stand a chance of ending the World No. 1's title defense in Indian Wells.
Swiatek looks at her lethal best at the moment and should be able to get the better of Andreescu to seal her place in the fourth round of the BNP Paribas Open.
Pick: Swiatek to win in straight sets.
